Scholarships and Grants for the 2008 District 2 Conference
NCMPR District 2 is now accepting nominations for scholarships and grants for the 2008 District 2 conference, scheduled for October 19-21, 2008, in Spartanburg, SC. Scholarships are designated for new members who have never attended a district conference and seasoned professionals who would benefit from attending the district conference. Grants are designated for those employed at institutions with restricted travel budgets for the current year. Eligible recipients of scholarships and grants include directors, managers, writers, graphic designers, photographers, administrative assistants, admissions professionals and others who contribute to their college's public information and marketing activities. The awards don't cover all conference costs, but they go a long way toward making attendance at the district conference possible. Apply today! The nomination deadline is August 15, 2008.
