So you've been thinking about serving on NCMPR's board of directors
Now's your chance!
NCMPR is now seeking applications for director-at-large (DEI). This position is one of three directors-at-large on the national board of directors. This is your opportunity to get more involved in NCMPR and take on a leadership role at the national level.
As director-at-large (DEI), you will represent NCMPR's full membership and take on special duties as assigned by the board to further the organization's strategic initiatives around DEI at a national and district level. You also will have a seat on the national board of directors as a voting member and serve as chair of NCMPR's national DEI Committee. You'll work on strategic planning and policy-making, and you will serve as one of the leaders in identifying and overseeing NCMPR's DEI-related strategic goals. Your work will help move NCMPR forward as the leading professional development organization for two-year college marcom and PR professionals.
Directors-at-large, who are appointed by NCMPR's Executive Committee after it conducts interviews, may serve up to two consecutive two-year terms. The term begins in March 2025 and goes through March 2027.
Interested? Take a look at the director-at-large job description and complete the application. (Please note: The current interim director-at-large (DEI), Kathy Rumpza, is going to reapply.)
