So you've been thinking about serving on NCMPR's board of directors
Now's your chance!
NCMPR is now seeking applications for director-at-large (member outreach). This position is one of three directors-at-large on the national board of directors. This is your opportunity to get more involved in NCMPR and take on a leadership role at the national level.
As director-at-large (member outreach), you will represent NCMPR's full membership and take on special duties as assigned by the board to further the organization's strategic initiatives around member outreach at a national and district level. You also will have a seat on the national board of directors as a voting member and serve as chair of NCMPR's national Member Outreach Committee. You'll work on strategic planning and policy-making, and you will serve as one of the leaders in our yearly membership drive. How can we target colleges who haven't been members in a while – or ever? How can we help NCMPR's member breakdown better match the diversity seen in the industry, all while keeping our mission at front of mind? Your work will help move NCMPR forward as the leading professional development organization for two-year college marcom and PR professionals.
Directors-at-large may serve up to two consecutive two-year terms. The term for director-at-large (member outreach) begins June 2024 and goes through March 2026.
Interested? Take a look at the director-at-large job description, and complete the application.
The deadline to apply is May 10.
