How has Justin helped elevate the brand of Portland Community College (PCC)? 
As co-chair of our employee-led brand stewardship working group, Justin has been leading our college in refining and strengthening PCC’s brand identity, identifying creative solutions to empower all PCC employees to be powerful brand advocates. He designed and executed a robust and comprehensive college-wide survey, which garnered over 350 responses and is pivotal to shaping our strategy. He has led efforts to ensure that the college’s messaging and visual representation are easy for employees outside marketing and communications to understand and utilize. By centering student needs and focusing on inclusivity, Justin has created design strategies that boldly meet the needs of our community. 

His work in significantly improving PCC’s approach to logo and licensing has set a benchmark for other institutions. By developing innovative strategies for managing intellectual property, Justin has provided a model that can be emulated by colleges and universities seeking to strengthen their brand management practices.? 

How does Justin demonstrate leadership ability? 
Justin’s leadership and management skills are evident in his ability to co-chair two critical work groups and transition into a new, pioneering role within the college. His service-leadership approach is characterized by a deep commitment to collaboration and relationship-building. Justin excels at bringing together diverse stakeholders, fostering a culture of teamwork and respect. He is excellent at inspiring members of the team to collaborate with him on his visionary work. 

How has Justin helped market PCC? 
His strategic vision and commitment to student success are driving targeted marketing campaigns that highlight the benefits and opportunities provided by PCC’s pathways, making them more accessible and appealing to current and prospective students.
