2023 District 3 & District 5 Conference

Oct. 4 - 6, 2023
St. Louis, MO

REGISTRATION IS CLOSED

Meet Me In St. Louis

We are traveling back 120 years to 1903, the setting of the iconic movie “Meet Me in St. Louis!” The movie relates the story of the Smith family from 1903 leading up to the opening of the Louisiana Purchase Exposition, better known as the St. Louis World Fair, in 1904.

As we reflect on the Progressive Era of the early 20th Century, we will celebrate the innovative spirit of the World’s Fair! We will hear fresh ideas from industry experts, embrace trailblazing perspectives from speakers and celebrate our achievements. We want the members of NCMPR Districts 3 & 5 to walk away from the fall conference with dynamic ideas, new concepts and a reenergized passion for their work.

The St. Louis Metro area is shared by Districts 3 & 5, with Illinois lying in District 3 and Missouri in District 5.

St. Charles, Mo., was founded on the banks of the Missouri River in 1769, making it the state’s third oldest city. It also served as the first capital during construction of the Jefferson City government buildings. St. Charles boasts a vibrant and historic downtown, and the city is the launching point for the Lewis & Clark Expedition. In addition to visiting Downtown St. Charles and the Lewis and Clark Boat House and Nature Center museum, the city is home to casinos, the Katy Trail, breweries, wineries and much more.

The St. Louis area has much to offer, including the Gateway Arch, symbolizing the growth and westward expansion of the country; the St. Louis Zoo, which is consistently ranked among the best in the nation (and free of charge!); The Hill, a unique neighborhood founded by Italian immigrants and featuring world-renowned Italian-American restaurants, bakeries, grocery stores, salons, and two bocce gardens; and the flagship brewery and headquarters of Anheuser-Busch, the home of Budweiser.

We look forward to meeting you in St. Louis!
