President Darling worked with area job development officials to create a wind energy technician program at our campus and secured the installation of a wind turbine near the college that provides electricity for the campus and serves as a live training laboratory for students enrolled in the program.?

President Darling believes honesty is paramount and that community and public relations is an activity that every employee should embrace. Everyone has a role in living and building the LRSC brand. He’s big with relationship building and collaboration, knowing a rising tide raises all ships. Since President Darling held the public information officer and marketing positions at LRSC, he is well-versed on what is needed to market and advance the institution. During tight budgets, President Darling always is protective of the marketing and advertising budget and personnel.
