My career wouldn't be the same without my experiences with NCMPR. For over a decade, I was fortunate to attend and present at district and national conferences and interact with a number of skilled marketing and PR professionals when I was Director of Marketing at Atlantic Cape Community College. I grew professionally in a number of ways, forged friendships and contributed to a number of conversations related to new marketing strategies, social media and branding. Nearly three years ago my career changed and I accepted a new role at my alma mater, The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. My experiences with NCMPR helped prepare me for this position. As someone who has been at the community college level and is now facing the competitive challenges of marketing a four-year school, the resources NCMPR provides are invaluable and, quite frankly, unavailable at my level. There are other organizations, groups, etc., but none of them promote collaboration and sharing of knowledge and ideas like NCMPR. I'm proud to be a member of the NCMPR family and cherish the experiences, personal and professional friendships, and knowledge I learned that helped place me in a position to succeed.
